Course Description:

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Urdu language, which is one of the official languages of Pakistan and is also widely spoken in India and other parts of South Asia. The course covers all aspects of the language, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and is suitable for students who are beginners or who have some prior knowledge of Urdu. The goal of this course is to provide students with the fundamentals of Urdu grammar and help you move from novice low to novice high levels in all four skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) through the guidance of our native speaking teachers.

By the end of this course students will be able to:

• Read and write in the Urdu script with minimal errors.
• Accurately recognize and pronounce all Urdu sound
• Develop basic listening and speaking abilities in Urdu.
• Learn about culturally, historically, and geographically significant cities and places.
• Read and write in Urdu at satisfactory speed with adequate accuracy for survival level competency.
